How to Survive Loving Someone Who’s Addicted

Find Your Path to Inspiration and Hope

Welcome to Dancing with Addiction; a place where your journey to lasting awareness and self-discovery begins. I encourage you to explore my self-help memoir, designed to provide guidance and support through the often murky waters of addiction and codependency. I am wholeheartedly excited to potentially be a part of your story towards healing and am committed to forever offering valuable resources and insights.

"Nina Peers has crafted a book that reveals the deep pain and challenging experiences that codependency creates. In her own words, she reveals her story of loving an addict and how chaos ran rampant in her life. Most importantly, in Dancing with Addiction, Peers offers a glimpse into how learning self-awareness, truth and hope can offer calm and growth for people living around the destruction of addiction. If you are struggling with codependency, you will find yourself among the pages of this book- it is a way forward to a safe, stable and  fulfilling life."

Patricia McTaggart, MA, Registered Clinical Counsellor

"A moving recount of hope to those whose lives have been affected by addiction. A heart-rendering, insightful and inspirational read."

Shelley C, RN

"Dancing with Addiction is part self-help, part memoir, and all powerful. Nina Peers does a masterful job of getting inside the head of the addict addicted to the addict and reveals the deadly dysfunction of co-dependency. You will find meaning, purpose and brokenness within these pages. A raw, personal and intense expose of the power addiction has to destroy. May this book be the beginning of change for you."

About Me

Dancing with Addiction was born from a desire to help others navigate the complexities of addiction through both my shared experiences and practical advice. While it began as a personal project in Powell River, British Columbia, I'm grateful to now be offering unique self-help resources to a varied client base, those living with addiction and codependency, all around the world. My approach is rooted in a deep empathetic understanding, born from my own personal journey, that ensures sincerity, warmth, and compassion remain my primary focus.
